This was a commission for a wedding invitation.
The couple asked me to visualize the events of their meeting, troubles, and finally the proposal. Based on their description of events this is what I came up with.
It was a challenge to get the pacing of the pages down since this was a few years of connections trimmed down to four pages. Also since it was a very personal project I though that the information had to be conveyed just right.
They were really cool about it as a few minor adjustments had to be made to the final artwork.
Pencil - Inks, than adjusted in Photoshop, Lettered in Illustrator.
